The quickest way to reach ProfessionalServices.ca is to call or text (604) 632-4959, or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. We keep Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific hours. We usually reply within one business day. Your first conversation is a complimentary, confidential consultation with a senior partner.
What happens next
Tell us the basics
Business, city, website and the problem to solve.
We review it
We look at your site and local search results first.
We talk it through
A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.
Choosing call, text or email
Use whichever fits your week:
- Call if you want to talk it through now and have fifteen minutes between commitments.
- Text if you are between court appearances, site inspections or client meetings. A short message with a good time to talk is plenty.
- Email if you want to share some numbers or context first, or if several partners should be copied.
There is no booking system to navigate. A person reads every message, and the reply comes from someone who has actually read what you wrote, not from an auto-responder script.
What to include in your first message
You don't need a brief. A few lines are enough, but these details help us prepare a more useful first conversation:
- Your profession and firm size, such as a four-partner family law firm or a civil engineering practice with twenty staff.
- Where you practise, including province and city, and whether you have more than one office.
- What you want to change, for example more corporate clients, fewer low-value files, or a new office that isn't yet busy.
- How new clients find you today, even roughly: mostly referrals, some search, the occasional tender.
- Any numbers you have, such as enquiries per month, new clients per month, or the share of work from your largest referral source.
Please don't send confidential client information. Firm-level figures and a plain description of the challenge are all we need.
A template you can adapt
Hello, I'm [Your name], [role] at [Firm name], a [profession] firm in [City, Province] with [number] partners. We'd like to [goal, such as grow our advisory work or fill a new office]. Most new clients currently come from [main source]. Last month we had about [number] enquiries and [number] new clients. A good time to talk is [day and time].
What happens next
- We reply. Usually within one business day, to arrange a time.
- The consultation. A senior partner asks about the firm, its numbers and its goals, and gives you a frank first view of where growth is leaking. This is useful on its own, whether or not you go further.
- A proposal, if there's a fit. You receive a written proposal setting out scope, timing, fee and terms. Canadian clients add GST/HST based on their province. There is no obligation to accept.
- Kick-off. If you proceed, we start with a data request and a baseline, so progress can be measured from day one.
If we don't think we're the right fit, we'll say so plainly and, where possible, suggest what to look at instead.
Before you call: three numbers worth finding
The most productive first conversations happen when a partner has looked at three figures beforehand:
- Enquiries last month. Count every prospective-client contact, by any channel.
- New clients last month. How many signed an engagement letter or retainer.
- Top referral sources. Who sent your last ten new clients.
If those are hard to find, that's a finding in itself, and it often points toward client intake or referral programs as the first engagement.
What we can and cannot discuss
We are business and marketing advisers. We are glad to discuss growth strategy, visibility, intake, referrals and practical AI use. We don't give legal, engineering, accounting or tax advice, and we don't interpret professional regulations; for those, your regulator is the right first stop, and the areas page links each one.

Frequently asked questions
Is the first consultation confidential?
Yes. Treat it like any confidential business conversation. You don't need to share client names or file details; firm-level numbers and a description of the challenge are enough.
Can I text instead of calling?
Yes. Many partners text between hearings, site visits or client meetings. Send a short note and a good time to talk.
What if we're not ready to engage yet?
That's fine. The consultation carries no obligation, and many firms use it simply to get a second opinion on where growth is stuck.
Do you work with firms outside British Columbia?
Yes. We work with firms in every province and territory, meeting by video call or in person and working by phone, text and email.
